Here our three Shih-Tsu guard dogs who note each and every person and dog passing by Bellaire & 13th.

From their perch on the ottoman, left to right,
Em (“little sister” in Vietnamese),
Ren (“lotus flower” in Japanese), and

Zoe (“life” in Greek).

As you might guess, the pack is functionally literate in four languages, responding to their humans’ use of English, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Greek when discussing walks, kibbles, and
Nubz (the universal treat).

Stop by and chat...you will find all of us out front keeping the bindweed and Japanese beetles at bay.
